Option B & Avalon
The vote is in and option B was the winner! Thanks for giving your thoughts, opinions, and compliments! It really did help!
I had a GREAT time with my friends
and family. I have a few photos and I have more to get from my
brother, but overall we had a wonderful time laughing, talking, and
dancing. I have a newly renewed sense of freedom and fun. I am
blessed to be surrounded by family and friends who value and respect
one another.
Anyway…it was a party! Everyone
looked good, the music was great, and the drinks were flowing (actually
flowing all over me…I had at least 5 drinks spilled on me during the
night)! I’ve never been a “drinker”, so I don’t need to do it to have
fun. My joy was to see my friends having such a good time. It made me
very happy. The end of the evening, however was not so nice at the club because club bouncers targeted my brother for his clothing although there were many men wearing the same thing if not more casual that my brother. At around 1:30, three bouncers approached my brother and tried to escort him out and told him he could not re-enter. I was extremely unhappy with their mannerism as well as the “manager’s” response when I asked why there was a club full of other men dresses similarly as my brother and they were not removed. His response was evasive and lacking accountability. Needless to say my sister-in-law and friends were not pleased. I wasn’t either. I will be addressing this with the owners of the club as I spent a great deal of money there to be treated with dignity and respect that we deserved and they didn’t handle the situation well. Although I do not go out often, I will not frequent that club again.
So anyway…here are some photos from my camera and I need to get some from my brother…
Fun Facts about Cancer (Astrology – although I am a Christian and don’t follow Astrology, I saw this today on MSN and, I’m amazed at how accurate this description is!)
Deeply intuitive and sentimental, Cancerians can be one of the most
challenging of the zodiac to get to know. Emotion runs strong for this
sign, and when it comes to family and home, nothing is more important.
Sympathetic and empathic, Cancerians are greatly attuned to those
around them. Devotion is the key word for this sign, making them
wonderfully warm, sensitive people to be around.Friends and Family
Traditional and maternal, Cancerians make excellent parents. In fact,
all aspects of family are number one to this sign. This can be seen in
the homes they make and in the dedication to duty they display.
Cancerians are often willing to overlook personality conflicts when it
comes to family, simply because they are related. Whatever needs to be
done, you can count on a Cancerian to go the distance for a family
member. They are deeply sentimental and are diligent about keeping
family albums and history intact. Passing on stories to the next
generation is a favorite pastime. When it comes to friendships, the Cancerian is very helpful. They’re
almost always willing to lend a hand, providing it doesn’t conflict
with family obligations. Friends are held in high regard and are
generally of like mind. Because the Cancerian generally prefers the
home scene rather than going out, folks that enjoy visiting and sharing
activities such as cards or at-home dining are top picks for buddies. While their
deeply intuitive, heart-not-head personality makes Cancerians very
sympathetic, it can also make them a little hard to understand. Time is
the cure for this!Career and Money
The Cancerian can be as tenacious as they are sensitive. When there’s a
job to do, they roll up their sleeves and get to it. They especially
shine when performing caregiving or related tasks, and make excellent
nurses. Other career ambitions can include housekeeper, gardener, and
journalist. A Cancer’s love of country gives them the base to being an
outstanding politician. The need to feel as though they are making a
difference, however small, is essential for this sign to feel fulfilled.Security is of the utmost importance to the Cancerian, and money is no
different. Making money generally comes easily, and putting it away is
usually what happens. Cancerians are not overspenders; in fact, they
are far more apt to invest a few dollars and make their money grow.
Many Cancer personalities see money as a symbol of their status in life
and are inspired to build up healthy bank accounts as a result. Cancers
are resourceful and manage their time and money well.Love and Sex
“I feel” is the key phrase for Cancer, and this is all too evident when
it comes to love. Tender and gentle, the Cancerian will show
sensitivity with their lovers without a second thought. They love
readily and choose a mate who can understand them as much as possible.
Superficial or overly ambitious partners are not well suited. The
Cancerian will look for someone who is equally as intuitive as they
are. They are devoted partners, love children, and marry for life.CANCER TIDBITS

Karen, I checked your pics on your Friday post– both are nice outfits, both are stunner if you asked me.
Your pics here are good, too… you have such a peaceful demeanor in you.
I used to be a fanatic in regards to astrology; but God’s Word stopped me cold.
I’ve learned that each one of us is unique and molded by God to His own specifications. I know a lot of Cancerians– you definitely stands out among the ones I know.
I love that you wore red shoes with that dress!! WOW
Great photos, thanks for sharing and im glad you chose B. Such a shame that the club mistreated your brother with disrespect, just because of what he wore?! unbelievable ..i hope you can sort it with the owner. The manager and those idiotic buffoons of bouncers OWE your brother an apology!

Glad you had a great time. You look great in anything and it has nothing to do with the clothes. It’s the smile on your face that makes you glow. Here’s to a healthy and happy 40th year. Oh, and can you send me a link where you found your Astrology stuff? I don’t follow it either, but it says your opposite sign is Capricorn….and I’m a Capricorn. LOL I’m curious at just how opposite it says we are.
Hey! Thanks for dropping by! Sounds like you had some fun to start! That’s good! Yeah, things can go down hill fast with a large crowd and much drinking! Its too bad they are not able to keep better track of what is actually happening – so that everyone can have a nice evening!
